Frequently Asked Questions
How often are Front Porch events held?
Front Porch Events are held almost every month! The exact schedule is dependent on speaker availability, but most events are on a Thursday and start at 5pm PT/8pm ET. Please watch each event's schedule to ensure the exact date and time.
Are the events recorded?
Yes, events are recorded and are available for viewing within a few business days after the live event.
I'm a grower member; why do I need to register?
While we have a lot of seats available for each session, we do have a limit. Rather than issue an open link to view live, we can better plan each event with an estimated number of attendees. Also, for members, the event registration becomes part of your profile "Forms I've Taken" for your records.
Why can't I register for all the events at once?
To ensure that registrations are best reflective of the potential number of attendees, we open registration for each event separately and after the previous month's event is over. "Add to Calendar" links are provided when event dates are finalized so members can save the date.
I'm not sure I can attend; should I still register?
Absolutely! Without registering, you will not receive the Zoom link. However, if you are certain you cannot attend a live event, the videos are available afterward for all grower and affiliate members so registration is not necessary in that instance.
I registered a few weeks ago; where is the Zoom link?
Zoom links are emailed to all registrants the day before the scheduled session, and again about an hour before the event.
Can I share my Zoom link with my partner/spouse/employee/brother? We all work in the same organization.
Zoom links cannot be shared. However, if your partner/spouse/employee/brother is active in your organization, as a secondary member, they can register for the event and obtain a Zoom link.
I am not a grower/affiliate member of USLGA. How do I know if I've paid for a previous event?
Receipts for payments are always emailed to the email address you used when registering. If you paid for a Front Porch Event and did not receive an email, please contact us.
Where is the list of past event recordings?
The link for a list of previous events is in our Resources > Front Porch > Previous Events. For members and prospects with a login, the link to previous event recordings is in the Learning Center > Front Porch Events > Previous Front Porch Events. If you have paid for access to a recording, click on that event's button to view the session, Fast Facts, and other handouts.
Support Topics
How to download handouts
Handouts are available on each event's webpage. They are posted about one hour prior to the event, with additional handouts made available later, such as the presentation slide deck and the Fast Facts. Most handouts are PDF and are viewable when you click on the link (downloading them is dependent on what device you are using). Some handouts are Word or Excel files, and those will download immediately and return you to the event webpage. check your downloads folder for those files.

How to sponsor a Front Porch Event
Front Porch Series Educational Sponsor: Annually, USLGA’s Front Porch Series focuses on educating the members of our association through webinars, and recordings. The Educational Sponsor plays a crucial role in the funding quality of the programming and allows USLGA to continue providing valuable content to its members. Educational sponsorships are $1,000 annually. Promotional Sponsors: USLGA's Promotional Sponsors will have the opportunity, depending on availability, to spotlight their brand in various spots across the association.
